At the upcoming FBMA Building Products Expo in August, Cranes101 plans to showcase packages including mobile crane certification, lift safety, overhead crane safety, signal person, and rigging courses—tailored specifically for FBMA members. “We want to get a sense of what interests them most and create package options,” Heather explains. Jay adds with a smile, “We’ve been accused of playing well with others by more than one organization.” Their willingness to collaborate has become a hallmark of their brand. And while Florida represents a new frontier in formal partnership, Cranes101 is no stranger to the Sunshine State. “I just got back from doing inspections in Broward County,” Jay notes, underscoring their existing presence. Coast-to-Coast Impact Cranes101’s footprint extends far beyond the Southeast. “The busiest regions right now are the East Coast and West Coast,” Jay explains. States like California, however, require special care due to their strict Cal OSHA regulations. “California operates uniquely,” he admits. “So we maintain a state regulations list and update it a couple of times a year.” Heather chimes in with a story that captures their reach: “We’ve done inspections and classes in Alaska— Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kotzebue. That was an incredible adventure.” 86 S P E C I A L E D I T I O N
