Knowledge / skills Sound and comprehensive technical expertise plus practical knowledge of building construction including new build and refurbishment works. Understanding of current relevant construction legislation and contract options. Knowledge of computers, including production of reports from software packages.

Comprehensive post qualification experience as a project manager. Experience of contract administering a recognised standard form of contract such as JCT, NEC etc. Relevant experience in a project leadership role with responsibility for procuring and managing construction and property projects from varying from smaller scale refurbishment schemes to major capital projects. Experience of working on technically complex projects such as medical or scientific research facilities. Personal characteristics/other requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with staff at all levels.
