Au nom du conseil d'administration de la Banque Alimentaire Bon Voisins (BABV), nous aimerions remercier toute la communauté pour sa grande générosité qui a fait de notre campagne 2017 un immense succès. Au cours de l'événement Remplir l’autobus qui a eu lieu les 10 et 11 décembre derniers, nous avons réussi à recueillir plus de 21 000 $ en nourriture et en dons! Pour cet événement, nous tenons à remercier la Coopérative Agricole d’Embrun, Indépendant d’Embrun, 417 Bus Line et sans oublier nos politiciens Pierre Leroux, Grant Crack et Francis Drouin, les bénévoles, les étudiants et les agents auxiliaires de la Police Provinciale de l'Ontario qui sont venus contribuer à notre succès. Un merci spécial à la Banque Scotia de Russell qui a organisé de son côté une campagne d’une semaine pour la BABV et qui a doublé l’argent amassé, pour un total de 8 816 $ remis à la BABV. De plus, nous remercions tous les autres organismes qui ont aidé ou fait des campagnes de financement pendant cette période. Sans l’aide de ces nombreux donateurs, il serait impossible pour la BABV d’aider les familles démunies de la région. On behalf of the Good Neighbours Food Bank (GNFB) administration council, we would like to thank the community for their generosity during our 2017 campaign. During the Fill the Bus event held on the 10th and 11th of December, we were able to collect more than $21,000 in food and donations! For this event, we would like to thank the Embrun CO-OP, Embrun Independent, 417 Bus Line and our politicians Pierre Leroux, Grant Crack, Francis Drouin as well as our many volunteers, students and the auxiliaries agents of the Ontario Provincial Police who helped make this day a success. A special thank you to the Russell Scotia Bank who held their own campaign for the GNFB. They doubled the money they raised during the week, for a total of $8,816 donated to the GNFB. Also, we wish to thank all the other organizations that raised money or helped us during this period. Without the help of these numerous partners, it would be impossible for the GNFB to help the region’s families in need.
