2:30 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. Looking Ahead

Meet us at the SURC East Entrance to grab your nametag and get information about the day’s events. Take a moment to enjoy refreshments up on the SURC Mezzanine and take a seat in the Ballroom for our Welcome. 9:00 a.m. - 9:40 a.m. Welcome to CWU Join us as we kick-off the day with a welcome from CWU leadership. Learn about the schedule, meet the President, and learn what it means to be a Wildcat. 9:40 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. How Do My Credits Transfer?  We’ll discuss how to read your Transfer Credit Report, get an overview of common questions transfer students ask, and learn about where to go for help with credits and degree requirements. 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Campus Partner Presentations Enjoy presentation from Peer Mentoring, Health & Wellness, Financial Aid and University Police & Parking Services. Refuel at Holmes Dining Hall with a rotating “All You Care To Enjoy” lunch in CWU’s spacious dining area. Look for themed table signs, Married or Parenting Children and Living Away from Home for the First Time, so you can join fellow transfer Wildcats around shared interests. 1:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. Building A Resume: The Game Show An interactive panel event featuring Career Services, Undergraduate Research, and Study Abroad, where students learn how to strengthen their resumes through real student success stories, audience participation, and game-show-style challenges. 1:45 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Transfer Student Experience Panel Learn from current CWU Transfers on navigating challenges, what they wish they would’ve known, and the day-to-day life at CWU. 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Enjoy Lunch on Us!

Hear from other transfer students on how to take advantage of offerings today and tomorrow, and kickstart your time here at CWU.

2:45 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Final Remarks

Wrap up the day with closing comments from our team and a chance to gather final takeaways. Leave refreshed and informed, ready to engage with afternoon activities. 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Teacher Certification Drop In Stop by SURC 201 if you are planning on pursuing education in any age group or subject come meet the Teacher Certification team. Learn about your next steps to staying caught up and in the loop.

3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Campus Tours

Enjoy a 30-minute campus tour led by our knowledgeable Student Ambassadors. Walk our historic campus and learn facts about CWU. Tours will begin at the SURC West Patio. Tours offered at 3:15pm and 3:30pm.

3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Start Smart

Stop by the Transfer Lounge for a treat, to print syllabi, check your Canvas pages, meet other transfers, and have a peer ambassador help you locate your classes. You’ll also receive a free CWU branded water bottle! 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Non-Traditional Student Welcome Twenty-five or older, parenting, or facing any other non-traditional circumstances? 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Bite of the ‘Burg

Meet and connect with faculty and staff from your college. Learn about your program, involvement opportunities, and how to excel academically.

Explore local businesses and dining options during this annual festival in the historic downtown. Head down to 4th Avenue between Pearl and Ruby Street to sample what Ellensburg has to offer. Student Employment will be there, if you’re looking for an on-campus job!

12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Start Smart

Admissions Bouillon Hall Lobby If you have a printed official transcript, you can drop it off here. You can also have final transcripts sent electronically, instead. Army and Air Force ROTC Lind Hall 202A and 220 Explore opportunities with Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC. Discuss available scholarships and what a career path in the military can offer you. Find the Army ROTC office in Lind Hall 220, and the Air Force ROTC office in Lind Hall 202A. Connection Card Office SURC Information Center Stop by the SURC Info Center to upload a photo for your connection card and then return later to pick it up! Financial Aid and Scholarships Bouillon Hall Lobby Visit our team at your convenience to get answers to all your financial aid questions. Housing Button Hall Get information on both on- and off-campus living options, and follow-up on move-in!

Office of Health Promotion SURC 256 For Wildcats in need of support, the Office of Health Promotion is here to help. Visit their student lounge for a quiet space. Service Desk: MFA Authentication Samuelson Building (First Floor) Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is a security requirement for your CWU accounts! The Service Desk is here to help you get it up and running. Student Accounts and Cashiers Barge 105 Set up payment plans, direct deposit, and authorized users. Review your GET or 529 plans. Visit Monday through Friday, 10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. to ask any follow-up questions about being a transfer student, seek resources, and enjoy the cozy lounge space.
