The participants shall:
Practice the ability to use load attachments points correctly
Discuss how to avoid hazards and risks while working with load attachment points
Receive feedback constructively
ACCESSORY STORAGE
Learning objective:
The participants can take responsibility for storing accessories correctly and safely (Ability, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Show examples of and explain how to store lifting accessories correctly and describe potential consequences of failing to do so
Provide constructive feedback to participants on storing accessories
The participants shall:
Demonstrate the ability to correctly store accessories (e.g. following practical exercises)
Receive feedback constructively
PRE/POST-USE CHECK
Learning objective:
The participants can on their own take responsibility for conducting pre-use and post-use checks correctly (Ability, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Lead a discussion on the importance of conducting pre-use and post-use check
Explain the different indicators that must be checked during pre-use and post-use checks, including ID, SWL, in date examination, certification labels, physical damage and contamination
Demonstrate examples of equipment that should not pass pre-use and post-use check
Provide feedback to participants on pre-use and post-use checks demonstrated
The participants shall:
Practice how to conduct pre-use and post-use check of equipment and accessories
