After getting married, Brother Lat- timore went to work for the Defense Department in Dallas, TX and later transferred to the Social Security Administration for 40 years of Federal Service. Lattimore received a number of awards during his tenure in Fed- eral Service, including the Regional Commissioner’s Award, the highest award given in the region. He is also Superintendent, Trustee, Deacon, St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Dal- las, TX. MARRIED: Wife - Carolyn (South- all) Morris. One child Eric Morris Jr., who is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and one grandson Eric Stephen Morris III INITIATED: 1967 – The Ohio State University Chapter, the Zeta of Kappa Alpha Psi (EC). Brother Morris is currently a Member of Pittsburgh (PA) Alumni Chapter, 1977- present where he has held the Office of Vice Polemarch, 1979-82, Polemarch 1983-85. As Polemarch of Pittsburgh (PA) Alumni Chapter in 1985 Brother Morris founded their annual Golf Tournament which in its 36th year is a major contributor to the Kappa Scholarship Endowment Fund of Western Pennsylvania. In 1992, he founded Pittsburgh Alumni’s Kappa Golf League. Brother Morris has been the Secretary of THE SIX Incorporated. Brother Morris is the 86 th recipient of the Elder Watson Diggs Award PROFESSIONAL YEARS: In June of 1970, Brother Morris entered the U.S. Army Reserves. He graduated from Basic Training as the number one Ca- det of his class. He received an Honor- able Discharge in 1977 with the rank of Sergeant 1st Class. Also in June of 1970, Brother Morris started employ- ment with Sears Roebuck & Company as an Executive Management Trainee in New Brunswick, NJ. Since then he held numerous Management positions from Division Manager to Operating Store Manager in Pittsburgh, PA. Brother Morris is a life member of the N.A.A.C.P. and served on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh North Hills Branch. Brother Morris is a 32nd degree Mason a Past Master of John Washington Lodge 92 in East Liver- pool, OH and a Shriner. Brother Morris currently owns and operates The Eric S. Morris Insurance Agency, INC. of State Farm Insurance in Pittsburgh, PA. ROBERT W. SCALES, JR.
