The 1998-99 Essential Credentials Now is a parallel to the 90-card base set. Each card is serial numbered to the player’s card number. For example, card number 1 is serially numbered to 1, while card number 90 is serially numbered to 90.
Perhaps one of the rarest cards from Jeter’s minor league time. These cards came in Kroger grocery store advertisements and attached to the inside of Clippers’ programs at the stadium. Each program contained four players. The hobby consensus is that less than 250 examples were made of the program with Jeter’s card. Some hobbyists believe 7 or 8 variations of this program at Cooper Stadium were printed. Our research shows that the Jeter appeared in only one program along with future Yankee teammate Jorge Posada, Andy Cook, and Tony Perezchica.
