What I did: My job was to plan, organize, lead and entertain kids aged 10-16 on overnight camping trips. What I liked: I enjoyed getting to know the campers and the feeling that I contributed to their top life experience at Netop Summer Camp. I also enjoyed instructing the kids about proper wilderness etiquette and guiding them through some of Maine’s beautiful landscape. It was extremely fulfilling knowing that I had a hand in helping them enjoy the outdoors as much as I do. My hope is I have supplied the campers with some of the necessary tools and ignited a spark in even just one child’s mind to explore the outdoors safely and respectfully. Future Dream Job: My dream job is to use my natural leadership, organizational and planning skills to help others enjoy the outdoors.
