COVERAGE
Careers, Education Information, Advice and Guidance will be available through SCL Group divisions Education and Training and Professional to ensure learners who are accessing Study Programmes, AEB funded programmes, Apprenticeships and Higher Education programmes have the opportunity to receive support.
IMPLEMENTATION
Learners will have the opportunity to receive CEIAG throughout their learning programmes alongside at pivotal points such as on application, throughout the enrolment process and at exit to enable them to make informed decision choices for progression.
Learners can be referred to the Careers team via a booking form.
MONITORING AND EVALUATION PUPILPUPILRESPONSIBILITIES
SCL Group recognises that each learner has unique aspirations, interests, and needs.
SCL Group will aim to provide personalised CEIAG support to help learners explore their individual career goals and understand the pathways available to them. SCL will endeavour to challenge stereotypical thinking and raise aspirations through the CEIAG provision. Our dedicated Level 6 Careers Development Professional will be available to offer one-on- one guidance and support to learners as they navigate their career choices. SCL will keep systematic records of the individual advice given to each learner, and subsequent agreed decisions. Learners will be able to access to these records to support their career development. SCL will collect and maintain accurate data for learners on their education, training or employment destinations.

The Careers team sits within the Learner Experience function, and led by the Group Head of Learner Experience along with Level 6 Career Development Professionals, and a team of Personal Development Coaches to support.
Careers provision is a Group-wide responsibility .
