“Frozen” is on the bill for both 2026 seasons at Spotlight Theatre and Music Guild in Moline – where the former’s lineup includes “9 to 5,” “Secret Garden,” “West Side Story,” “Hunchback of Notre Dame” and “Seussical,” and the latter has “Cabaret,” “1776,” “SpongeBob,” and “Putnam County Spelling Bee.” The Countryside summer in Eldridge features “Guys & Dolls” and “Mean Girls.” Other QC theaters include The Black Box and Playcrafters in Moline, Richmond Hill in Geneseo, and Genesius Guild in Rock Island. In addition to the 14-screen movie multiplexes in Davenport and Moline, downtown Davenport boasts the cool indie movie theater, Last Picture House, with two screens and a great lounge. Art enthusiasts can check out the Figge Art Museum in downtown Davenport, including its nightly exterior art display, “Evanescent Field”; the Quad City Arts gallery in downtown Rock Island, rotating galleries at the QC International Airport, and between Rust Belt and Midwest Ale Works, East Moline, and a tremendous variety of public art throughout the area.
