I.
PURPOSE AND SCOPE A. Purpose
This Policy establishes guidelines for the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, including generative AI, in the practice of criminal defense. The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that AI use supports ethical, zealous representation while safeguarding client rights. Specifically, this Policy:
{ Ensures compliance with applicable Model Rules of Professional Conduct and ethical obligations;
Protects client confidentiality and attorney-client privilege;
