Prohibited Uses
The following uses of AI tools are strictly prohibited:
1.
CONFIDENTIALITY VIOLATIONS
{ Entering confidential client information into any non-approved AI tool;
{ Uploading privileged documents to public or open AI platforms;
{ Entering discovery materials subject to protective orders into any AI system unless expressly permitted by the order and compliant with its terms;
Using AI tools that lack adequate confidentiality and security protections for client-related work; and
{
{ Entering personally identifiable information, protected health information, or other sensitive data without proper safeguards.
2.
UNVERIFIED SUBMISSIONS
Filing any document with a court without independent verification of all facts and legal citations; Submitting AI-generated content without attorney review and approval; and

{
{ Relying solely on AI-generated legal research without verification through traditional legal databases.
3.
IMPROPER DELEGATION
Using AI to make strategic case decisions that require professional judgment; Substituting AI analysis for independent attorney evaluation of case merits;
