Evidence Review Verification
When using AI tools to review evidence in criminal cases, personnel must:
Recognize that AI transcriptions and summaries may contain errors or omissions;

{ Manually verify critical portions of transcribed audio or video evidence;
{ Not rely solely on AI summaries for evidentiary determinations;
{ Review original evidence before making arguments based on AI- generated summaries; and
Be alert to potential AI bias in evidence analysis that could affect case assessment.

VIII. SUPERVISION AND TRAINING A. Supervisory Obligations
Supervisory attorneys must:
{ Ensure that all personnel understand and comply with this Policy;
{ Provide adequate training on the ethical and practical aspects of AI use;
Establish appropriate review and oversight mechanisms;
{
Approve AI tool use in sensitive matters when required; and
{
Address any violations of this Policy promptly.

Training Requirements
All personnel who use AI tools must complete training that covers:
The requirements of this Policy;
{
The capabilities and limitations of AI tools;
{
Ethical obligations applicable to AI use;
{
Risks associated with AI use, including hallucinations, bias, and confidentiality concerns;
