PERFECT PAIRINGS

WINE + CHARCUTERIE

1

A charcuterie board is a popular and visually appealing way to present a variety of delicious and complementary flavours for guests to enjoy at your next party or get-together. There are many different wine options to pair with charcuterie, including bubbles, white, rosé and red! The best pairings will depend on what is on the board. We have curated a selection of wines that pair beautifully with different parts of a typical charcuterie board. Photographed here is a beautiful example of a charcuterie board prepared by the team at Sláinte using locally sourced ingredients from Chinched Bistro & Deli and Five Brothers Artisan Cheese.

Ama Bene Pinot Grigio features telltale pinot grigio notes of citric and green fruit, with a definite streak of minerality running through it. Some surprising stone fruit in the form of peach and apricot. Great acidity in this great value wine will wash down all the meats and cheeses!

This dry rosé, made predominantly from pinot noir grapes, is a great match to savoury meats and mouth-coating cheeses, cleansing the palate after each bite, and making each subsequent bite taste like it was the first.
