missionary pictures M issionary E nterprises , headed by Mr. Paul Goodman, has produced two new motion pictures describing two important aspects of Christian growth and maturity. The first, a dramatic motion pic ture, is entitled, “ The Going To Fam ily.” It deals with a contemporary Christian problem telling of the frus tration a family gets into as they veer from their original plan for a life dedicated to Christian service. They find themselves involved with the complexities of a materialistic world and society. The original call to God’s work is still ringing clear as they remember their earlier re solve. Thinking of the many instances they have said, “ Some time, some day, we’re going to,” they suddenly be come aware that they have permitted such a promise to become a substitute for action. Dr. Jack MacArthur is featured in the film with special pic tures taken by the producers in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Africa and India. The second motion picture, “ Such as I Have,” is taken from the im mortal answer of Peter to the alms- seeking layman. It reminds us that silver and gold are not the first and most important things we can give to or receive from the Lord. The gra phic challenge is the complete dedi cation of oneself, one’s God-given tal ents, and the abilities one may have of furthering the service of Christ. The producer, Paul Goodman, speaks in regard to the film presentations, “ The layman is often frustrated with the missionary call. Feeling his limi tations, perhaps because of his lack of theological training, he is con fused as to what he could possibly do in a world-wide field over-ripe for the harvest. We have tried to answer that question. ‘Such as I Have’ is a picture for men of vision who, rea lizing the burden of the work, can and will respond with hearts and hands.” Missionary Enterprises films are distributed by Christian Films, Post Office Box 565, La Habra, California. 24
