&/#3&'r#3*&'4 ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARMS There have been more accidental fire alarms for the City of Clarence- Rockland’s firefighters to answer this year, so far, than there were last year. The latest update report to council from the emergency services depart- ment noted that by the end of the summer season this year, there were 14 fire alarm calls involving kitchen cooking situations, compared to eight last year at that time. The fire department also had 24 miscellaneous accidental fire alarms as of summer’s end this year compared to 13 last year. – Gregg Chamberlain
Les propriétaires du Tim Hortons de Rockland ont fait un précieux cadeau au Centre d’aide Rockland Center. Depuis de nombreuses années, les Tim Hortons organisent une collecte de fonds afin de verser le montant accumulé à un organisme sans but lucratif, grâce à la vente des petits biscuits sourires.
