Sabika Shaban is a determined seeker of inspiration, whatever the situation she finds herself in. It turns out that though life keeps churning out obstacle after obstacle, she’s learning to figure out the tricks to manage them one experience at a time. “I wrote a poem about seeming alone and yet not so. This poem goes to show just how dim hope can look, but all one has to do is to search the shadows for that silver lining. If you strike your own match in the dark, you never know whom else you inspire to be strong alongside you.”
