30 | ACTON-BOXBOROUGH REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT | ANNUAL REPORT 2025–2026
The high school celebrated our community through assemblies, Community Day, Senior Sunrise, Flex Block, Senior Clap Out, Step-Up Day, and many other events. Our Advisory program fostered connections among students in all grade levels. Course re-leveling shifts continued to expand access to advanced-level courses and to provide more diverse learning opportunities. Culturally responsive and restorative practices were prioritized in instruction and responses to incidents. In February and April, students productively engaged in assemblies on “The History and Impact of the Nazi Swastika” and “The History and Impact of the N-Word.” Quarterly Vision of a Graduate awards were presented to students demonstrating the values of Adaptability, Collaboration, Communication, Intellectual Curiosity, and Integrity. Students and staff created a High School Artificial Intelligence Vision statement. Finally, we received accredi- tation and commendation from New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) at our 10-year visit in November. ADDITIONAL HIGHLIGHTS • Senior Celebrations: Nearly 400 seniors participated in our 32nd Annual Senior Community Service Day. They enjoyed the first-ever Senior Sunrise, Senior Dress-Up Day, Prom, Senior Clap-out Ceremony, and a trip to Kimball Farm. We are exceptionally proud of the Class of 2026! • National Honor Society: NHS members hosted the 13th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast, and we inducted nearly 100 new juniors into our chapter. • Proscenium Circus: PC performed “Chicago,” State Semifinalist “The 39 Steps,” and our first student-directed musical, Disney’s “Descendants.” Congratulations to our National High School Musical Theatre State Finalist and our many recognized actors, directors, and designers.
