ST-ISIDORE LOCATION Is presently searching for a BILINGUAL SERVICE MANAGER The candidate for this position is to act on his/her own initiative and will be under the general supervision of the Controller/ Operating Manager, to maximize the efficiency, safety, profitability, morale and customer relations of the Service Department and its employees and integrating its operations with the other departments of the Dealership. The qualifications and experience required for the position are to have strong agricultural mechanical, managerial and human relations skills developed from many years experience in managerial/supervisory positions, in a business environment related to the agricultural mechanical field. Formal training needed in business related topics. Understanding of the mechanical environment, farming/industrial and agri-business. Experience in other management positions will be considered. Some of the position’s challenges will include : 1. Managing staff, dealingwith customer complaints regarding warranty and service. 2. Meeting other departments, and customers’ deadlines. 3. Marketing the shop to the community to maximize profits. 4. Due to the nature of the business, there will be a seasonal rush and time demands, all in an environment where margins are tights. 5. Dealing with maintenance and repair of extremely complex equipment. 6. Liaising with head office pertaining to warranties. 7. Insuring that the Service department works well with the other departments in the Dealership.
