RUSSELL LIBRARY STARTS COMMUNITY GARDEN

Volunteers will plant and grow fresh produce in the library’s garden, some of which will be donated to the Good Neighbour’s Food Bank every week. The Russell Library is starting a commu- nity garden, and the army is helping out. ANNÉE DU JARDIN Au cours de sa réunion ordinaire du 2 mai, le conseil municipal du canton de Russell a voté pour nommer 2022 l’Année du jardin afin de célébrer la communauté horticole au Canada. Le jardinage apporte
l’importante contribution des jardiniers, des organisations locales de jardinage, des professionnels de l’horticulture et des entreprises horticoles locales au canton. -Christopher Smith
