I first saw Dan Morris’ 1918 Ford Model T roadster at the Street Rod Nationals West in 2025 and I made a beeline straight to it because I wanted to know more about the unique looking OHV conversion engine. While drooling all over the T’s engine and trying to figure out what the Wikipedia article I just googled up was talk- ing about, Dan came up and I was gloriously assaulted with his pas- sion for his roadster. Dan started collecting parts for his T in the ‘70s and had finally gotten it all together. He spent days, weeks, months, and sometimes years figuring out every detail in his tribute to racers of the ‘20s and ‘30s and he enjoyed every second of it.
