Dan wanted to not only build a tribute of an early race car, he also wanted to be able to drive it and look period perfect. The roadster runs a lot of stock or modified Model T suspension including a fully boxed T frame. The front suspension is a dropped early I-beam from Nostalgia Sid’s, no front brakes means cautious cruising, a reversed eye spring mounted behind the axle, ‘26 Chevy steering, T spin- dles with modified steering arms, and custom wish- bones. The rear suspension is a transverse leaf with custom wishbones holding the Ruckstell two-speed axle with a closed driveline. The engine is a ‘27 T

four-banger with the Rajo head on top, a dual-point ignition, 97s on top of aluminum intakes, and a cus- tom-made header. The 177ci engine is backed up by the stock two-speed that is then backed up with a Volvo electric two-speed overdrive to give Dan enough gears to get up to highway speeds (maybe faster, downhill). The only thing that stands out are the cool custom Wilwood Texas T rear disc brakes and they are semi hidden by the 21-inch T spoke wheels in white and wrapped in bias-ply rubber.
