Robert Van Savage from Bailey, NC, started out having the peo- ple at the MHRA Rod Shop help him with a leaking power steer- ing line, but ultimately won a “Manufacturer’s Pick” from Quality Enterprises for his ’39 Ford sedan that has a Mustang II IFS, a 350/200R4 powertrain, and drives like a champ.
It’s easy to love Alvin Kottmyer’s ’35 Pontiac coupe out of Ronks, PA, that now has a LS2/6L90 tranny, C4 Corvette suspension, big Dayton wheels, and a red over gray leather interior.
