There are always a bunch of cool Deuces in York, but we dug on Dondi & Kim Smeltzer’s “Rep/Safety Pick” winning ’32 Ford cabriolet out of Howard, PA, running Ford 392 Windsor power with a five-speed, a Rosewood dash that’s stunning, BFG-wrapped Billet Specialties wheels, and perfect detailing.
We took picture notes when we shot James Wolfe’s ’33 Dodge sedan delivery that won a “Rep/Safety Pick,” but now we have more questions. Cool details include push button shifter, 1960s radio in a beautiful dash extension, the stock gauges redone, Mopar power, a tubular Mustang II IFS, and Billet Specialties wheels wearing Goodyear rubber.
Jack Jennings from Wilmington, DE, spent five years homebuilding his “Rep/Safety Pick” winning ’49 Ford Woodie wagon that he filled with the stock flatty power wearing twin 97s, a five-speed Tremec tranny, a FatMan IFS, Wheelsmith Artillery wheels, and a custom wood headliner leading to a custom tailgate.
