Mactac, Esker Form Process Automation Partnership Mactac, a Lintec company and supplier of pressure sensitive adhesives, is partnering with Esker, a global cloud platform and leader inAI-driven process automa- tion solutions, to automate its accounts payable (AP) and order management (OM) processes. Mactac is im- plementing the information technology changes as part of the company’s digital transformation strategy. The new automated accounts payable solution al- lows Mactac the opportunity to streamline all vendor inputs into a single platform, which reduces errors and time needed to improve cash management. The order management solution gives Mactac the ability to quickly access metrics and validate information to ensure data accuracy and faster processing of orders. Sun Chemical Partners With GMG Color Sun Chemical has partnered with GMG Color to pro- vide customers with a new digital drawdown solution for color swatch production. GMG’s solution, GMG ColorCard,will now be available globally as part of the SunDigiProof service, available within Sun Chemical’s SunColorBox. GEW Appoints Impryma Group For Spain, Portugal GEW UV curing systems will be represented across Spain and Portugal by a new official distributor, Grupo Impryma. Impryma has office in Madrid and Barcelona, Spain. FLAG Hosts Peer Group Summit FLAG (Flexo Label Advantage Group LLC) launched its first in-person Peer Group Summit at the Double- tree by Hilton Hotel at Seaworld in Orlando, Florida, on October 5. Peer group meetings, and the opportunity to openly network with converters of a similar size facing sim- ilar challenges, have become so popular with FLAG members that a dedicated “Peer Group Summit” was launched this year to enable independent converters to exchange ideas and business opportunities. Twelve member companies and six sponsoring ven- dor partner companies attended this inaugural event. Members met for a day-and-a-half in small groups, shar- ing input on topics such as COVID impact, staffing is- sues and supply chain disruptions.
