Your Oviedo Dentist’s Newest Addition Meet Dr. Ann Delman

As I settle in here, I look forward to maintaining the reputation Your Oviedo Dentist has built within the community. I can’t wait to reach out to new patients, strengthen relationships with existing patients, and be a part of the practice’s next chapter when the new building opens later this year. On a more personal note, I love spending time with my family. I have a husband and daughter. Earlier this summer, my husband and I, along with some friends, took a trip to Portugal and explored part of the country, hiking and visiting geothermal springs. I’m already looking forward to our next excursion, which may be a trip to Barcelona. We’ll see! I also love to cook and bake, and I’ll make just about anything. But I do love to return to the classics, like chocolate chip cookies. You can never go wrong with chocolate chip cookies. Aside from baking, I grill whenever I get the chance, which is pretty frequent here in Florida. I can’t wait for the weeks and months that lie ahead. There are so many things I’m looking forward to. My philosophy is to treat all patients like family. Since I became a dentist, my hope has been to make dentistry a better experience for every person who sits in the dental chair. Through communication and listening with a warm heart, I’m here to make it a reality.

At Your Oviedo Dentist, we are committed to serving our community in the best way possible.

To help us achieve that goal, we recently introduced a new dentist to the team, Dr. Ann Delman! She joins both Dr. Lopez and Dr. Colon in

delivering you the best dental care that Oviedo and the Greater Orlando area has to offer. This month, we hand over the spotlight to Dr. Delman so you can get to know our latest addition! Before I joined Your Oviedo Dentist, I was looking for a dental office that was fully dedicated to the patient. I wanted to be a part of a team that was striving to make a difference and had a great reputation in the community. The more I learned about Your Oviedo Dentist, the more I realized they were a perfect match. Their core values aligned with my own and what I wanted in a dental practice. They are growing, and they have their sights set on big things this year. I wanted to be a part of that. And now, I am! I’m thrilled to be a part of the team. My first full week with the practice was the first week of August. Since then, my experience has been nothing but fantastic. Meeting and getting to know the patients has been wonderful. The team atmosphere among the staff and doctors works so well. Everyone cares deeply about the patients, and that means everything to me.

See you soon!

When you lose a tooth or you live with a damaged tooth, you may wonder what happens next. What are your options?

Today, one of the most popular options is dental implants. Living with a missing or damaged tooth can lead to serious issues. It can be incredibly uncomfortable, if not painful, and it can alter the alignment of your other teeth. Additionally, it can influence your self-confidence. All too often, people with a missing or damaged tooth are reluctant to smile or speak naturally. They hesitate to let their true self shine through. Dental implants help people overcome all of these issues and more. Your dentist can easily replace one or more of your teeth with a durable, beautiful implant that is designed to mimic your natural tooth structure. Implants can be custom-made to exact specifications. Once in place, no one but you will know it’s an implant!

The Best Water Sport You Haven’t Tried Yet

Why You Should Get Into Stand-Up Paddleboarding Today!

surf legend Laird Hamilton was the first person to bring SUP to the continental United States. Most stand-up paddleboarders aim to battle the waves to challenge their balance and core strength, but you don’t need to live by the ocean in order to enjoy paddleboarding. Wide lakes, lazy rivers, and even fierce rapids can all be perfect places to paddleboard. Basically, if you can bring a canoe, you can SUP there, too. Many outdoor gear providers across the world rent out SUP supplies now, so you can try it out with your friends before fully investing in the sport.

It’s the end of summer, and before fall andwinter start to creep in, you can still take advantage of the warmweather and jump into theworld’s fastest-growingwater sport, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). This sport is exactlywhat is sounds like. You stand on a paddleboard — like a surfboard but wider and more buoyant — and use a long paddle to glide across water. It sounds simple enough, but with a 200 percent boost in gear sales in the last year alone, SUP fans can tell you how much fun “simple” can be.

Stand-uppaddleboarding has ancient roots in African, Peruvian, and Hawaiian cultures. Thousands of years ago, each independently developed traditions of

Part of what makes SUP so fun is how the simple premise has been adopted into so many other activities. SUP enthusiasts created especially designed paddleboards for fishing, yoga, racing, and even touring the open ocean. So, what are you waiting for?
