Added after being slow to begin, allowed the gelding to stride forward in accordance with the instructions, taking the lead passing the 1800m. Lost the off hind plate in running. FLEM 01/01/2024 Raced wide in the early stages before settling outside the leader near the 1700m. Eased down from the 200m. Vetted, lame NH. M V 23/12/2023 When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer reported he felt the gelding would improve with fitness following its run at Cranbourne on 25/11/2023 and today was also assisted by having blinkers removed as it had raced too keenly at Caulfield on 16/12/2023. GEEL 06/01/2024 Slow to begin. Held up for clear running from the 500m until passing the 300m. M V 23/12/2023 Taken wider passing the 100m and then over the latter stages raced in restricted room. Added the gelding commenced to race keenly in the middle stages and ultimately set a faster tempo than she would of liked. BBT01/01/2024 Raced four wide without cover throughout. Apprentice dropped her off side rein near the 50m and did not regather it until passing the winning post. KRNG 30/12/2023 Near the 700m was steadied when tightened for room. STAW 05/01/2024 Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. CRAN 12/05/2023 Began awkwardly. Passing 200m was brushed and carried wider. MORN 28/12/2023 Near the 1100m was eased to avoid heels. CRAN 29/12/2023 At the entrance to the home straight was inclined to lay in after improving onto the heels of another runner and as a result became held up for a number of strides. WAGG 05/01/2024 Slow to begin. Raced keenly in early and middle stages.BRTS 04/07/2023 Raced keenly in the early stages. Steadied off heels near the 800m. Steadied off heels near the 200m.
