BRAT 09/12/2023 Rdr reported after being pressured by another rnr in the early stages, his mnt was able to establish the lead approaching the first turn, however it gave limited response when placed under full pressure and was disappointing in its finishing effort, and in his view it was not suited by the step-up in class. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Co-tnr subsequently reported satisfaction with the post-race condition of the filly. CANT 08/12/2023

Slow to begin. Near the 900m improved onto heels and was steadied. Tactics queried regarding riding and in particular as to the reason why another runner was able to obtain a position in advance of Zamborghini near the 1100m. Rider advised by Stewards that the preferred option would have been to maintain position. Trainer concurred with the views of Stewards.M V 30/12/2023

Passing the 200m was struck on the head by whip FLEM 03/06/2023 Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not racing since January 2023 due to arthritis in the pelvis and was passed suitable to race. CAUL 16/12/2023 Approaching the 200m was hampered and became unbalanced when tightened for room between runners. Rider reported after suffering interference near the 200m and losing momentum, the mare subsequently did not run on. FLEM 01/01/2024 From passing the 150m through to the finish was held up when unable to obtain clear running. Rider reported passing the 200m the gelding laid in behind a runner and from this point, his mount was not travelling well enough to reestablish a position. GEEL 06/01/2024
