This will be a four-hour cadaver lab designed for participants to gain important skills used in the emergency and critical care setting. The lab with consist of four stations with an instructor at each station. Each station will be 50 minutes with an approximate 20-minute break after the second station. the following skills: will be taught by veterinary technician specialists (VTS) and will include the skills; thoracocentesis, abdominocentesis, tracheostomy, urinary catheterization in both the male and female canine and feline, feeding tube placement (esophageal, nasogastric and Nasoesophageal) and advanced intravenous catheter techniques (IO, central lines) and cut downs.
