Spectacle de breakdance ARTS & CULTURE
Les murs de l’École élémentaire publique De la Rivière Castor, à Embrun, ont vibré lors du spectacle de danse annuel présenté par l’ensemble des classes de l’école devant parents et amis, le 17 avril dernier. Au cours des semaines qui ont précédé le spectacle, les élèves de lamaternelle à la 8 e année ont suivi des ateliers avec les instructeurs des écoles de danse Tradansa et Bboyizm. Les jeunes ont fait voyager les spectateurs dans divers pays grâce à lamusique et la danse.On voit ici le groupe X qui a excellé dans un numéro de breakdance, Olivia Comeau, Clarence Melin, Brianna Dreghorn, Jordan
Support the Alzheimer’s Walk Residents of Prescott-Russell who have a family member or friend with Alzheimer’s Syndrome, or who support the research to find a cure for the condition, can break out their walking shoes and take part in one of two Walk for Memories for Alzhei- mer’s events in the region. There is a May 9 walk in Cornwall from the bandshell in Lamoureux Park. Closer to home for some walkers is the June 11 event at the L’Escale school on Du Parc Avenue.
