The 2021 Social/Community Construction Award (above £1m), sponsored by PKF-FPM, was won by the Charles Brand Group for their work on the Lagan Gateway Project in Belfast. This multi-stage project is a key element in the long- term regeneration of the Lagan Navigation, incorporating high quality public realm provision, extensive landscaping, and redevelopment of the nearby towpath into pathways suitable for walking and cycling. Fit-Out Award

WINNER: GRAHAM - EAGLESTARHOUSE, BELFAST

GRAHAM picked up the Fit-Out Award for their stunning work on Eagle Star House in Belfast. The judges agreed the winning £4.5m project for Urban HQ transformed the unremarkable 8-storey building into a fresh, all-inclusive workspace that now accommodates more than 500 desks, 8 kitchens, 35 self- contained washroom facilities as well as light-filled meeting rooms, focus rooms, phone booths and a rooftop terrace that offers spectacular views of the city. The judges complimented the excellent relationship and trust between the client and contractor and concluded that GRAHAM has delivered a high quality project that is now an asset to the commercial life of the city.
