Job Description Project Management • Prepare designs or performance specifications to enable contractor specialist packages to be tendered • Assist in the evaluation of the tenders returned from specialist contractors and manage/ sign off the detailed design • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, where appropriate, from Local Authority approvals to specific Industry standards • Attend site meetings with the client and UPL Team if required • Review technical content required for O&M manuals and carry out a pre-completion inspection of the works, to ensure compliance with design intent. Business Development • Provide technical advice and innovative design solutions to support bidding activities, and thus in securing new business opportunities. Other • Other duties commensurate with the post • The role will be based in our London office and will require regular visits to sites, particularly within the region but also nationally.
