Compared with June 2025, the number of rental units registered decreased 23.6%.  Using a 12-month moving average 5 , there were 2,057 rental units registered 6 in June, trending at a 1.8% decrease from May.  Using a 36-month moving average 5 , there were 1,855 rental units registered 6 in June, which is a 2.0% decrease from May.  There were 21 rental buildings registered 6 in June. Most of these were buildings of 51 to 100 units (33.3%) and buildings of more than 100 units (33.3%). The largest building of 191 units was proposed to be built in Vancouver.  In June, Saanich (312), Surrey (240), and Kelowna (204) had the largest number of rental units registered 6 in B.C.
