Royal Geostick Installs 12‑color BOBST MASTER M5 Royal Geostick Group has purchased a new BOBST MASTER M5 flexo press, purpose-built high-volume multilayer label production. Configured with 12 flexo units, a double unwinder, QN module and one ECG-read- iness, the MASTER M5 press will shortly be installed at Royal Geostick’s facility in Uithoo- rn, Netherlands. After multiple acquisitions of All-in-One DIGITAL MASTER platforms, Royal Geostick is now expanding its conventional flexo capacity to boost productivity, diversify applications, and meet rising market demand for high‑quality labels over longer run lengths.

The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA), has published its 2025 State of the U.S. Flexible Packaging Industry Report . The annual report pro- vides converters, suppliers, investors, and analysts with a view of in- dustry performance over the past year.

The MASTER M5 offers full automation, 12 flexo units, rapid changeovers, tight register control, and stable high‑speed performance. Integration with BOBST Connect is said to en- sure seamless data flow across Royal Geos- tick’s workflow, providing the reliability need- ed for large‑volume sustainable production.

According to FPA’s analysis, the U.S. flexible packaging industry reached $42.6 billion in annual sales in 2024, up from $41.4 billion in 2023—a 2.9 percent growth rate. Report Results • Flexible packaging accounts for roughly 20 percent of the total U.S. packaging market, making it the second-largest packaging seg- ment behind corrugated. • FPA members project 4.8 percent industry growth in 2025, bring- ing the market to an estimated $44.6 billion. • Films, paper, and resins remain the largest converter input costs, representing nearly 75 percent of material purchases. • Flexography continues to dominate printing technologies, repre-
