Security Label, a Paragon Central Europe company based in Sarstedt, Germany, has invested in a customized Nil- peter FA-17. The requirements for the production of airport tags – baggage tags for international air travel – are high, according to the company. In addition to consistent print quality, mechanical precision, high production speeds, and reliable finishing play a key role. The Nilpeter FA-17 features a modular design, stable web guidance, and diecutting technology that are report- edly well suited to the industrial production of airport tags. Airport tags are produced in huge quantities worldwide and must also meet strict technical requirements. Typical materials are often special synthetic substrates with inte- grated barcodes that enable reliable baggage tracking. Perforations and holes are also required.
