Write the phrase “Ways to Display Data” on the board or a piece of anchor chart paper. Give each student a sticky note. Have students list three ways that data can be displayed on their sticky note.Place students’ sticky notes on the board or the class anchor chart. 2. Explain to students that there are many ways to display data. These tools help people understand the data easier. 3. Have students read the article individually, in pairs, or in small groups. 4. Give students a copy of the graphic organizer Data, Data, Everywhere! 5. Students will use the data sets to create different ways to display the data.
