Grooming Standards It is the policy of Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru to ensure that all colleagues in the hotel comply with the grooming standards during regular working hours as stated below. Failure to comply with these standards may result to a disciplinary action. Grooming and uniform standards are to ensure colleagues reflect hotel’s professional image, however it is important that every employee must know how to dress, apply makeup and groom at the work place. Grooming standards will also apply on the behaviors and body language to reflect the elegant and professional image and represent the quality of the Hotel.

1. Hair should be clean, tidy and neatly cut.

4. Fringes must be secured in place with plain clips that match the hair color and combed back neatly. 5. Short or shoulder length hair should be groomed tidily. Frizzy or wavy hair types should be tied or clipped neatly. 6. Guest contact colleagues must put their hair up in a bun if it is longer than shoulder length. 7. Non-guest contact colleagues secure their hair in a ponytail if it is longer than shoulder length. 8. Guest Contact Sales Colleagues may keep their hair neat and tidy – either pulled back away from the face or worn down. Hair should be styled and hair away from face.
