ETHLEHEM, PA— Professionals involved in the design, construction, management, financing, and ownership of real estate took part in a January lunch and learn session on major changes in compliance standards involving the Americans with Disabilities Act. Hosted by CREW Lehigh Valley at Lehigh University’s Rausch Business Center, the event featured a presentation by Tim Perry, Compliance Specialist of Accessibility Services, a program of the United Spinal Association. Tim covered changes in federal and state regula- tions that become effective for projects that begin construction on or after March 15, 2013. The class accorded continuing education credits for members of the American Institute of Architects. CREW Lehigh Valley is the local chapter of an organization of more than 8,000 members involved in every aspect of real estate in 76 markets across North America.
