Quatre jeunes Cyclones au championnat provincial
Star 5 skaters Two students from the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) schools in the Prescott-Russell region scored top-ten results in their categories in provincial figure skating. Hannah Kreft of Rus- sell Public School placed fifth in the Star 5 U10 category at the Skate Ontario Championships, in Sudbury, over the March 20 weekend. Also competing in the Star 5 competition was Kiera Yuill of Rockland District High School, who placed 10 th in the 13-and-over category. – Gregg Chamberlain
Quatre jeunes joueurs de hockey, du programme RDS de l’École secondaire catholique Embrun, ont été choisis pour faire partie de l’équipe des Wilds de l’Est ontarien lors du All Ontario Bantam AAA Cham- pionship . Danyk Drouin, Jonathan Paquette, Alexandre Hogue et Braden Legue, tous des élèves de la 9 e année, vont participer au championnat qui se tient cette semaine, du lundi 28 mars au samedi 2 avril, à l’Académie internationale et canadienne de hockey (CIH) à Rockland.
