Spring has always felt like a season of possibility to me. As the landscape wakes up and bursts into color, there’s a renewed sense of energy and imagination in the air. In that spirit, I’m delighted to share that our Spring Art Show is just around the corner—and you’ll find an application right next to this article. This beloved exhibition celebrates creativity, courage, and growth, showcasing the incredible work our local artists have devoted themselves to throughout the year. I hope you’ll join us for the reception on May 1st to experience the joy and pride that fill the room when artists share their work with families, friends and neighbors. This marks the 36th year of this wonderful tra- dition, and it continues to inspire our entire community.
This spring also ushers in an exciting new chapter for creativity at the Center. We’re preparing to open a brand-new space devoted to making, experiment- ing, and bringing bold ideas to life. It will offer artists more room to explore new materials, collaborate with one another, and push their creative boundaries. We’re envisioning expanded workshops, hands-on opportunities, and inspiring experiences for makers of all ages—so stay tuned. There’s much more on the horizon, and I look forward to sharing it with you.
