ABOUT UW-SUPERIOR

LOCATION UW-Superior is located in the safe, welcoming City of Superior, Wisconsin, on the shore of Lake Superior, the largest freshwater lake in the world. Superior is in the Superior-Duluth metro area, a regional tourist destination with a population of 270,000+, including more than 20,000 college/university students.

The University of Wisconsin-Superior is a part of the University of Wisconsin System, one of the largest and strongest public university systems within the United States. UW-Superior is home to nearly 200 international students from almost 40 countries. More than 2,600 students are enrolled at UW- Superior. Our classes have a 13:1 student-to- faculty ratio. The average class size on campus is 17 students. Students are supported by friendly, professional and experienced staff in the Office of Intercultural Student Success. UW-Superior offers more than 60 student organizations and 19 varsity sports. There are many opportunities to get involved on campus, conduct research, develop leadership skills, take part in internships or join academic and other kinds of clubs. 93% of students are employed or pursuing a graduate degree six months after graduating.
