■ Career achievements: Established a competency-based cost optimisation strategy by capping overhead expenses that had no tangible or intangible returns at Arete Group. This was achieved via outsourcing and recycling. The company closed at a profit of 100 billion Pakistani rupees after tax, a 10% increase from 2021, despite the recession in Pakistan. Delivered the feasibility, concept, and masterplan of a 300- acre project in Mangla, Pakistan. Overcame the complex topography and managed a team of 10 multi-disciplinary professionals to deliver the project in record time. The clients subsequently awarded the company a contract of a 14,000- acre extension to the project, worth 210 billion Pakistani rupees. Managed the development of time sheet software to replace a manual system. The new software increased the accuracy of data and led to a 100% employee submission rate in comparison to 30%. This enabled Arete Group to analyse the costs and profitability of projects and undertake employee appraisals using robust metrics.
