This stronger control led to significant improvement of consolidated net profit of all SOEs, from US$860 million to US$8.4 billion. The system provided real-time information to aid senior management in their decision-making process, such as identifying which areas need to be improved, assessing the maturity of corporate risk management, and determining the internal control for fraud prevention.
