■ Career achievements: As the single GIZ employee in Diyala, undertook a series of projects that enabled the Diyala Industry Office to convert to a chamber and become independent from central government. This streamlined the registration, renewal of licences and bank loans for 1,300 factories. Co-founded and designed the first fully integrated aquaponic fish farm that achieved a sustainable solution to the issue of decreasing water levels. The technology was circulated to a number of NGOs and institutions which established a climate change network throughout Iraq. After ISIS was expelled from Mosul, managed and directed NGOs and volunteer groups as a Program Development Specialist. As a result, provided help to more than 10,000 Masloui directly and 100,000 indirectly to build social safety and promote civilian engagement. Those Masloui are still active and working on projects that are developing the image of the city after the war.
