■ Career achievements: Built and implemented a comprehensive dashboard to continuously track SDOP’s sales and profit performance by geographic and key product segments, in collaboration with the commercial managers. This tool was continuously used to track and correct underperformance and enabled SDOP to exceed its budgeted sales and PBT targets for the first time in three years in 2021. Led the negotiations to restructure the payment plans of several customers, and recovered a total of 5.95 million Malaysian ringgit which otherwise may have been written off as bad debts during Covid-19. This achievement also significantly enhanced the business unit’s working capital positions. Developed and implemented a Cash Flow Planning and Control tool that enhanced the entities’ cash flow position by 35% over six months, allowed for optimal usage of available funds and significantly drove down reliance on external financing facilities and financing costs by 15% in 2021.
