Do you have a typical client? If so, tell us about them? If there was something that your clients have in common, what would it be? AT: I typically see women around the age of 40 years and over, who are looking for advice and nonsurgical options to help with the aging process. The most common request I get is looking natural. A lot of people are misinformed when it comes to injectables, when in fact the majority of your friends have these services done, but you just can’t tell. That’s when it’s done correctly! Tell us about some of the projects that you have worked on. AT: I sit on the board of the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Speciality Nurses (CSASN). We are a group of 6 aesthetic nurses who bring evi- dence-based education to our 190 members across Canada. We organize cadaver labs, lectures, guest speakers and regular meetings to keep our industry safe for our patients, which is always our number one concern. What motivates you as an entrepreneur and small business owner? AT: Independence and to be proud of something that is my own that I can put my heart and soul into. I consider myself as a new business owner, as I only started Aundrea Nurse Inc in 2017 so I feel like I am just getting started on my entre- preneurial journey.

What was the inspiration behind Aundrea Nurse Inc? How do you keep up to date with the latest innovation and products in your industry? AT: I think I saw an opportunity and wanted to jump on it. I figured this was my chance to start my dream of owning my own business. I work with a great team of people who are all career driven individuals. Together, we attend many different trainings, Nationally and Inter- nationally to stay on top of the most up to date information. This industry is evolving quickly so it is crucial that we are always educated. The brands I was working with were certainly bigger, but they were also far less connected or concerned about the communities they were serving. A sharp contrast to the small business, and non-for-profit I had earlier worked for. I work with a great team of people who are all career driven individuals. Together, we attend many different trainings, Nationally and Inter- nationally to stay on top of the most up to date information. This industry is evolving quickly so it is crucial that we are always educated. What services do you offer? AT: My expertise lies with injecting; this is what I do the most of. Injecting neuromodualtors along with dermal fillers on the face and body. I also offer microneedling with PRP (platelet rich plasma) for scar revision and hair regrowth.

Where do you see yourself and your business 5 years from today? AT: Hopefully, I will be done with school by then which will give me more options in my field of aesthetic medicine. In 5 years, I hope to have expanded my portfolio with injectables and gain more autonomy in my practice. As a small business owner and dedicated profes- sional, Aundrea understands the power of confi - dence and how that can transform you personal- ly and business wise.
