● Be responsible for the agreed operational budget for SIH and its programmes, in line with the University’s financial framework, and external funding requirements. ● Work strategically with the Director of Keele Management School to ensure that the SIH develops a strategy to underpin the future growth and development of the School. ● Work strategically with the Director of Research, Innovation & Engagement to ensure the SIH develops a strategy to underpin the wider re-development of the existing Science Park and its future direction via development of a new 38 Ha development site.

Communication / Documentation ● Communicate effectively across a wide range of audiences. ● Liaise, establish and maintain positive links with external agencies and providers. ● To adhere to regulations and procedures relating to data protection and information security.

Supervision / Staffing. ● Lead, manage and develop the SIH Manager.

Personal Development / Performance ● Demonstrate a commitment to continuing Personal/Professional Development.

● Ability to observe and define priorities and timetables in the achievement of strategic and operational objectives (Grade 7 and above). ● Adhere to the University’s environmental policy and procedures and seek to promote environmental sustainability within area of responsibility.
