For the fifth year in a row, dragstrip warriors from decades ago will fire up twice a day thanks to John Jones Auto Group. Thursday through Saturday massive crowds will gather to take in the thundering voice of raw power. Larry Wolyniec’s Fuel Coupe AA/FC was a big hit last year, along with Rob Stewart’s Schepels Speed Master AA/FD. With the given popularity of trucks this past decade NSRA decided to launch their new “Top Truck” awards in 2026. At the 2026 Street Rod Nationals “Vintage ’36” will gather street rods and classics from 1936, an era of mechanical improvements and re-styled trim playing a larger role in design rather than radical body redesigns. Attendees will enjoy many examples from various man-
ufacturers in this “Vintage 36 90th Anniversary” display presented by Vintage Air who happens to also be cele- brating its 50th Anniversary in 2026.
An impressive display of new products will be part of the activi- ties scheduled for the forty-ninth consecutive year at the 57th NSRA Street Rod Nationals. The “New Street Rod Product of the Year” display is for companies exhibiting at the event, and prod- ucts are entered in competition based on their retail-selling price. Every item must be available for sale at the Street Rod Nationals in the year they are entered in this competi- tion.
