Students on all pathways will study English and maths at an appropriate level until they reach Level 2 or GCSE Grade 4. Students at E1, those on the Further Education Pathway and students on the 16+ Progression Pathway will study additional maths and English sessions to ensure they have the skills in these key areas to enable them to progress. It is important that students provide evidence of prior achievement as part of their initial assessment. Stepping Stone qualifications are available for students who are assessed as needing more than one year to develop the skills required to achieve a complete level.
