REBRANDING TO ALIGN WITH ELECTRIFICATION OF THE IRISH HEATING LANDSCAPE, C&F QUADRANT LTD HAS ALSO EMBARKED ON A REVAMP OF ITS DUBLIN AND BELFAST BRANCHES, SAYS MD EMMET DUFFY… C&F Quadrant invests in the future
What inspired C&F Quadrant Ltd’s rebrand? Our current logo and brand image date back to 1992 when C&F Ltd and Quadrant Engineers merged. Those were different times when it came to heating standards, product offering and a dominant fossil fuel-based landscape. The last number of years have seen the environment come to the forefront of our lives, firstly with more efficient products coming to the market and now electrification driving product development, eg heat pumps for both domestic and commercial applications. Our brand owners are moving with these times with new products, and it was important for us to not only be representing these products but for our image to begin to represent this
change and our new collective purpose. Adopting a green-themed, more modern influence and image is essential as we deliver such solutions to the Irish heating landscape. Tell us about the new trade counter, showrooms & training centre We are in our current location at Cherry Orchard Industrial Estate for 25 years now and are fortunate with the size of space we have available for warehousing, office space and trade counter/ showrooms. Our showrooms have taken many forms over that time, but again product changes and industry direction had to be taken into account going forward. Training has always been to the forefront of our offering and, in association with
our partners the Vaillant Group, we have redesigned our training space for boilers and renewables from both the Glowworm and Vaillant brands. We are also fortunate to have the services of the Vaillant Group and their staff to deliver first-class training sessions on site here in a location that is very convenient for access. Our training centre now also has a dedicated area for our commercial heating offering. With industry-leading brands in commercial boilers, heat pumps, burners, calorifiers, pumps, gas detection and safety systems, we are now delighted to be able to offer training and CPDs at our own premises. The company’s business embraces not just heating but also white goods, where we represent many white goods brands
